RiverFront Park is one of the finest parks in Columbia!

This park is the site of the world's first electrically operated textile mill and a hydroelectric plant. Along with the rich historical background of the park, its amenities include picnic tables, benches, a playground, public restrooms and water fountains.

There is also a beautiful brick amphitheater as well as a walkway that offers views of the inside of the 1906 water plant. The paved trail along the river is a popular area for runners, walkers and bicyclists of all skill levels. Mile markers are located along the trail so that visitors can measure their travel distance. The trail runs two and a half miles and offers wonderful views of the river and easy access for great fishing.
